What Systems Works Best for the ComplexĀ Abstract Thinker?Ā

Ā

A complex abstract thinker is a person with a lot of thoughts in their head. They like to have everything at once, and they don’t mind if it's not perfect because they know that eventually, they will get there. If you are this person, then a system that works well for you is the mind map or bullet journaling method. Mind maps allow you to have everything at once without having to spend hours trying to figure out how all the pieces fit together, while bullet journals work well for those who need an open structure where things can be added on as needed without feeling confined.

The idea that one can be complex but still abstract makes deciding what system works best for them complicated. What is more, their needs are always changing, and it can be hard to find a system that meets the person’s current needs, but with room left over, so they don't feel boxed in or overwhelmed by choices. But one thing remains true: whichever method you choose will work if you stick with it and understand the way you think. You are complex but open. You are abstract but want everything at once.

So, even if you are not sure what system will work best for the complex abstract thinker, there is a good chance that whatever method they choose will suit them just fine.
